Dojo & Ambiente
The sports and training facility Budocentre was opened on 1. April 1996 following comprehensive reconstruction and refurbishing activities.
The aimed target by the trainer of the German national team Efthimios Karamitsos and the architect Sergiusch Godula (Karateka - 2. DAN) was the combination of japanese simlicity with modern architecture. This concept was inspired by the famos book "Karate-Do, Philosophie in der Bewegung" published by the two authors Karamitsos/Binhack.
The combination of flowing forms and shapes together with the application and usage of uncommon materials gives the Budocenter its exceptional Ambiente.
The Dojo covers a total area close to 500 square meters and it offers 2 training rooms, one of which equipped with a mat surface and the other with a flexible surface covered with parquet.
Both of such training rooms are equipped with a fully mirrored wall.
In completion to the Ambiente of the Budocentre a Sauna area for convenience and relaxing after the training is waiting for you.
